mirroring humanity
i am a fresh tori amos fan; i just found out about her in 2005, when I was 17. From then on I became a Tori fan; I kept myself busy by filling myself with Tori's music, from her earlier ones to her ADP album. I love it!
here in the philippines we have similar situations of mad governance and all other phenomenon in America and all over the world. I love Tori that she mirrors humanity, and that she validates that music is all about endless possibilities.=) i am at the edge of my seat for your next set of surprises.

I'm flabbergasted
I'm flabbergasted as always with tori her music is amazing and so good to listen to
My Review
This Album is Tori Amos and through the years (counting on my fingers but just realized no need) as

to the greatness lay in the lyrics and the Piano the voice....and the way the songs keep me wanting
more of it as Last night I went through some old videos and her music as always kept my mind going...
for you see the best part of Tori Amos Music are to me that the lyrics hit close to home and anything
(may it be poems or music) that I can relate to have my attension captured and Tori Amos is a big
part of the whole cirkus that are my (life)
The funny part is though that for some time now up until reason time I haven't really been listening
to you Tori but now your back into my head again -smiles- and with a new album and new songs for me
to enjoy (thank you) I hope you'll remain past my time for I can't get enough of your lyrics, piano & voice
So Plus on you.
new era (age)
I have been listening to Tori since 1993..when I was in the 8th grade.
I have been a dedicated fan since and I have to say that ADP is the angriest and
most intense Tori I have ever heard...I love it and this new energy coming after the closure of the Piano box set is a very liberating thing as well as a wake up call...especially after the beauty and light that was Beekeeper..to have something so dark..breathtaking and thoughtprovoking as always...Keep it coming I will always be an ear with feet.
American Doll Posse
When I saw Tori was doing another personality disorder CD I was worried. But being a faithful fan I had to own American Doll Posse. I was at my local music store for a release party On 12am of the day of release. At straight up midnight they began selling, and playing, her new CD. I was entranced as usual. The passion, the power, and the beauty was there in such an intensity I almost cried from the beautiy of the music. I was the first person in my town to own American Doll Posse, which I am very proud of! It really seems like every new release just keeps getting better and better. There is a passion behind Tori that is second to none. You can feel her love for what she does in every note. If you haven't heard ADP, shame on you! If you have, then you know what I mean! Tori Rocks!
life long fan
another great from the best-- she always shocks and surprises- but she gives you a hug right along with it. been luvin her since 1992. can't wait to see what's next.
American Doll Posse
I love Tori's new album American Doll Posse. I've been listening to her since her start and am always amazed at everything she does. She seems to have grown alot as an artist since Under the Pink and gets better with every album. ADP is different than anything else she's done, I admire her talent, beauty and creativity. My favorites are Bouncing off Clouds, Big Wheel & Roosterspur Bridge.
Keep making your life touching music Tori, I'll be listening.
I went out today to buy a replacement cd of Boys for Pele ( I wore mine out) no luck, actually Tori's stuff seems to always be sold out or hard to find locally. Thank goodness for the web based cd stores I can always count on to get those hard to get precious Tori jems.
I love this album...

"I-I-I am a M-I-L-F, don't you forget!"
Stylistically, I think Tori Hit a series of thresholds on this album
I know some of you think other albums are better that Tori has done, but as a person that values an artist's life, I prefer to be in the moment celebrating this release with said artist, in this case the brilliant Tori Amos. This album combines so many thematic qualities of so many musical eras and then its got the unique Tori Amos signature with her amazing ability to work the lyrics in. I hear 80s rock, lots of male penis oriented guitar work here, very nice, (I'm a woman but I'm a guitarist also), and the beatles (girl disappearing), the olivia newton john styling of bouncing off clouds, and the lynyrd skynyrd tribute Big Wheel, or thereabouts, I mean, this woman is amazing and too much to put into words. It doesn't compare to any other albums of hers because its a fine work by and unto itself. BRILLIANT!!!!
*** Hmmm...I like classic Tori
Yep, that pretty much says it all.
POSSE...
Great stuff-I got the deluxe set-it was so cool that you stuck the UPC and FBI warning on peel off sticker-they ruin your great cover designs! the music, pics, the booklet and the DVD were too cool.
I happened upon 'Me and a Gun' on Utoob, and was just utterly stunned.
I hope that show (Chicago) can come out as a DVD/Video
Best Album Ever
I truly believe that this is the best Tori Amos album ever. When I first heard it, I could hardly believe she´s still able to do such great songs. Thought I think her previous albums are great, this one goes beyond the music. The brilliant mise-en-scene Tori created creates many dimensions on an album that is more than an album, is like a movie, or a book, with many characters and many stories. Not much more to say, I´M IN LOVE. One thing to ask: a live show in Portugal!!! I´ll go wherever, just to watch American Doll Posse on the stage, so please, please, please, that´s all I have to ask.
Much love and congratuilations to Tori...
An Album I Must Have With Me If I'm Ever Stranded On That Island We All Talk About
I am a total Tori fan. I have all her CD's, books, DVD's, etc. She is my all-time favorite musician. I even prefer her to The Beatles--my number 2 pick. I've been listening to her since Under The Pink first came out (I didn't know about her when Little Earthquakes first hit). Having said all that and listening to her music now for 13-plus years, I can say that American Doll Posse is my second favorite album ever by the wonderful Tori Amos. For me, only 'Little Earthquakes' is better. This album (ADP) has passion, amazing compositions, texture to spare, a great master mix, a vocal sound that I didn't think she could still pull off, a great "band" sound, a good mix of song styles (happy, thoughtful, silly, sexy, serious), and a great concept of having different personas. Thanks Tori for an album that, I think, shows you at your fullest and most actualized human self. Long Live Tori!!!
Always a surprise!
One of the things that I love about Tori's albums is her criativity to present a history for each album. American Doll Posse started as a fantastic album because o the theme, the history. 'Cause the music is amazing as always. Tory is a real artist that knows how to explore totally her potential.
M.I.L.F.
I will always love "Little Earthquakes" best, but Big Wheels may be my new favorite Amos song. I loved the song on first listen. Since I was unsure of what M.I.L.F. meant, I looked it up on Wiki. I had to laugh out loud.
Only Tori! Sheer awesome talent, passion, and complete honesty! I love it. Other great titles: Almost Rosey and Girl Disappearing.

I hate getting old until I consider the alternative.
srah the playboy mommy
brilliant, i thought the bee keeper was a good album, but tori has come back again with avengeance. it's a masterpeice and it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. My favourite tracks are girl dissapering, big wheel and dragon.
Not her best but she earned my good review
American Doll Posse is very Tori but it is not the best album she has done.
Some of the favorites to me are: Big Wheel,Bouncing off Clouds,You can Bring your Dog,Code Red, Almost Rosey, Dark Side of The Sun, and Smokey Joe
Even though the album wasn't the best, it still captured the Tori Amos vibe/mood. Tori[Myra Ellen] is so talented in what she does and do, so inspiring!
Tori Rocks!
amaze!
All of tori's work is amazing, this album is no exception! Ofcourse, it means ive got 23 more songs to learn on the piano but hey ho XD Thumbs up!

TORI REVIEW
I think this album is amazing. I love all toris work . She is so very talented . The best for me will always be the choirgirl hotel.Ive been a fan for only four years, but I love everything i've heard by Tori.
For ever with good music Tori Amos
At all shan't like gossip what album is better and worse .it values near singers pope scenes ,but Tori is artistic personality,so that new record is according to mine shift personalities and time in life.American DOLL POSSE is splendid album,a little at him worse break in ,but when to the texts deep - rooted so her I don't want thrust forth.
I hope that the will come again to the Prague –Lukas from Czech rep.
What a album! Tori always lovely...
This is one of the most difficult disc for listeners, but when you have eared some times you love it till the end of times!
Always songs like "Bouncing", "Big wheel", "Secret spell" or "Father´s son" will be my songs too, next to my heart...
I love Tori, we need you touring in Spain!!!
Bouncing off Clouds
Wow Tori you have changed the music I listen to for ever. I can't get enough of your music, and Bouncing off Clouds is the song that did it. I have fallen in love with your music. I saw you sing for the first time on a English talk show, and that was it . American Doll Posse is fantastic. I can't wait to hear more. . . . When are you coming to Vegas ? . . . . Blessings !
'Posse' made me happy when it was released!
After I finally got 'Posse' (it was my best birthday gift
) I played it for over 20 times in the following days. It is different, but in a positive way. Tori has found the new ways of expressing some emotions. ADP is full of energy and includes several remarkable tracks. In my opinion the best are 'Body&Soul', 'Girl Disappearing', 'Velvet Revolution'... I love this album!
The times they are a-changin'...
Tori's music has definitely changed, and I think the change is good. I think each album touches something in us...I know it does in me...and you can't heal the same wound over and over again, eventually you have to move on to something else that needs to be addressed. Little Earthquakes was a very personal album, it was Tori looking inside herself and pulling out all the tangled messes there and exposing them. It was about liberation. Under the Pink, on the other hand, seemed to force all us girls to look inside ourselves, and at each other...at the ways we treat each other, betray and hurt and love each other. It said, "okay, YOU're free, now stop pulling that poor girl's hair and untie those ropes around HER wrists already." Each album is a new message, and the same is true for this new one. It's like it's saying, to everyone, "Times are changing, you're changing, and you've got to deal with it. You've got to find the beauty and the good and you've got to deal with the pain and the problems."
It´s good!
It´s not my favorite album, but I like most of the songs....There is a difference between this album and the others, but that´s tori, right? My favorite will always be "boys for pele".
SHE'S BACK MUTHA F***A!
Absolutely love this album! She has pleased me once again! I am new at this but have heard all of her CDs. My sister was kind enough to let me listen to them and put them into my itunes list. This one compared to the others is still one of her best! I have an absolute love for how she really put herself into it like this. She researched and opened her body and mind to let these different beings in. I think it takes alot to do something like that. Not to mention the composition which was just excellent. Which her stuff always is but OMG the way it was placed on the words was perfect. I find myself just getting ost in her music. Well, that is my review of American Doll Posse, thank you for reading!

YOASH! <3 Mo
Well said Jessikamarie
About the boundaries of people's comfortable level, since she is not exactly easy listening or what most people are used to, and this album does have a lot of fiery energy!
The Perfect Album
Hi Tori! I've heard this album once, and this is a perfect album! This is your best album with From the Choirgirl Hotel!
My 5 best albums in the univers are:
From you: Choirgirl Hotel and Scarlet's Walk
From David Bowie: Scary Monsters
From Zsuzsa Koncz: Valahol (Somewhere), Menetrend (Timetable).
Also Choirgirl Hotel was incredible. It is the best album which can ever be created! Love you much!

Tori's Doll Posse
This album was incredible. Hearing this album for the first time I was like wow! It sorta reminded me of the first time I heard the Little Earthquakes album. Same kinda vibe. I honestly think that Tori has outdone herself this time. American Doll Posse is destined to be another gem added to her library.
BACK WITH A VENGEANCE
I agree with many others that the last album was not as well recieved by the whole, nor myself. I felt like Tori was losing her spark. But I stand humbled, because while Beekeeper certainly had a much calmer element, the tiger in Tori was simply sleeping. ADP is raw and firery, every bit as emotionally charged and edgy as only Tori can be. This album takes the listener past the boundaries of comfortability with Tori's classic nature and propels them into a whole new era in amazing songwriting. It's so complex as well! The characters that define this conceptual piece help us realize, as individuals, how the little pieces make up the strength of the BIG picture. Once again Tori you've swept us up into your ecclectic world and taken us to a whole new experience. Thanks! PS: Looking forward to a rockin show this Saturday in Omaha! Bringing the husband for the first time, gonna see if this MILF can make a believer outta him!
Incredible Tori
No words to say: every new Tori's album is a big emotion.
I confess that I was not so enthusiasted about "The Beekeeper" and so I was quite afraid of how "ADP" would have been.
But when I started listen to it...I cannot stop! It's amazing, every song is perfectly beautiful.
Now I can surely say that Tori Amos is one of the greatest artists of all time. Every album of her is a masterpiece.
Wonderful Tori!

"Boot and Legs" not for European fans
I'm quite disappointed that the bootlegs are not available for European fans yet! Why is that?
POSSE tour Cd
I Have to say this is the best Cd yet. I like the themes Tori is exploring. The music is great. All around I reccomend this CD for Tori fans or those that are not yet fans. The themes are modern and i liek the generated ideas she has about various elements. Thanks for Listening Pan
for the most part.....
Just a couple that i haven't been able to feel yet,Not bad considering 23 tracks i love the suprise that is "Programmable Soda". Roosterspur Bridge was also a nice little suprise! the haunting vocals were quite reminiscent of choirgirl (which i have to admit, took me awhile to warm up to). Almost Rosey and Beauty of Speed are added to my top Tori (and are kept company with Taxi Ride, Playboy Mommy, Jackies Strength and Pretty Good Year). adoration and respect for Tori and the "girls". J.
Split...
I'm about split down the middle on this album. As with most of Tori's albums, there are songs that I absolutely love and others that I've stricken from my hard drive, never to be heard from again. Tori and her purists may see this as an unwelcome divergence into territory deemed far too electric, but I've always loved Tori's piano with a squalling guitar. Digital Ghost is my hands down, balls out favorite track on this album. One of the best ballads she's ever written, I think it rivals even those found on her debut album. Lyrically, the song is striking on a very personal level, and has echoes of 1000 Oceans in its attempt to reach out to those distant ones. Teenage Hustling, Body and Soul and Big Wheel are biting and make this boy want to reach for the stripper pole. Smokey Joe is a powerful, searing condemnation of a song and Code Red rings out like a siren in the wake of an attack. In my opinion, Tori is at her best on this album when she's either needling, airing her sexuality without actually displaying it or weathering an Apocalypse. This album falters in my eyes and ears when it resorts to the sonically droll piano balladry of the likes of Roosterspur Bridge and Girl Disappearing or the whimsical sing-songy niceties of Programmable Soda. Overall, the album stands up. Maybe with time the rest of it will grow on me! Who can say, really?
So far ahead of her time!!!
Tori is and always has been ahead of her time. I, luckily, found her early on, when "Little Earthquakes" was new and no one knew who Tori was. I bought the CD after seeing a few seconds of the first video from the album, and never looked back. I have been to more concerts than I can count, Red Rocks, all over Chicago many times, Florida. I have always been astounded by her ability to wrap syllables around each note and make it at the same time coherant and completey melodic. There is a symphony in her vocal range, and a genius lurking in her composition ability. To say I am lifted every time I play her music is such a vast understatement, I almost hesitate to even type it into existance. This newest revelation is at once relevant and necessary, and also very "Sgt. Pepper's" in that it is seemingly from left field, unexpected and obvious genius. I need to take a stand though on the recent "Beekeeper" banter. I LOVED that album with my soul. Beekeeper, the tour, the bootlegs, the t-shirts (I bought 3) were such a huge part of my life. I still, to this day, put that album on when I need to feel better instantly. I love to put it on shuffle, and randomly get each song. But I digress, ADP, is, without a doubt, the single most clever and utterly intelligent concept for an artist I have ever come across. This album will be studied and talked about for generations, mark my word. I have trouble comprehending the brain that could arrive at such heights musically, lyrically and not without an amazing grasp on how to package it all in a beautiful, powerful and yes sexy way. I am forever in your debt Tori, you ROCK MY WORLD!!!!

"You look too small, in your big black car, to be a threat to the men in power"
Posse Posse Posse!!!
I just like it very much!!! I don't especially know what she usually does, but I've been a fan for only one year -(I mean a true fan of her). And I bought everything about her, and I must admit that this is the first Album with which I do not skip songs (pardon my English, I'm French and It's late in France)...I mean, I listen to almost everything without being disapointed. It's just (according to me), the best she has ever done!!
Great
I have been a fan since Little Earthquaukes. Loved everything that has come out. I am looking foward to seeing my first concert of Tori in November when she will be at Ruth Eckard Hall!!!!!!!!!
